  • 1 cup
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsps
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 cup
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • 4 Tbsps
    butter, melted
  • 4 cups
    Breyers® natural vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup
    chopped pecans (toasted)

Heat waffle iron as directed by manufacturer.

Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside.

Whisk milk and eggs.

Stir milk mixture into flour mixture until just combined.

Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and bake waffles according to manufacturer's instruction; usually 8 minutes or until stem is no longer visible.

Remove waffle from waffle iron and cut in half.

Scoop about 1/2 cup of ice cream on one half of the waffle. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of pecans and sandwich with other half of waffle. (To toast pecans, heat oven to 350F and bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until golden brown).

Drizzle with chocolate syrup and serve immediately.
