JOLLY RANCHER Tie Dye Cake

Pick three desired JOLLY RANCHER flavors. Place four candies of each flavor in microwave safe bowls.

Add 1 tbsp and 2 tsp of water to each bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds on HIGH heat.

Carefully stir candies until melted. If needed, heat an additional 30 seconds at a time. Set syrup aside to cool.

Tip: Candies can be melted in water overnight. Cover bowls and leave out on counter or in the refrigerator. Stir occasionally through the night.

Grease and flour desired cake pan(s). Make white cake mix according to box instructions using egg whites.

Divide batter into three separate bowls. Fold in JOLLY RANCHER syrup. If desired, add food coloring to increase the color of the batter (1 drop for gel food coloring and 2 for liquid food coloring).

Spoon the batters onto the pans so that the three colors create layers. Swirl with a toothpick to create tie dye pattern.

Be careful not to touch the sides or bottom of the pan. Tip: Can use homemade white or vanilla cake mix, if desired.

Bake cake according to box instructions. Pull out of the oven. Run a knife or metal spatula between cake and pan edge to help release the cake

Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Turn out cakes and cool completely on wire rack.

Ice and decorate with JOLLY RANCHER Freeze Dried Candy as desired. Than good to go!
