Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsps
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 1/4 cups
    milk
  • 2 Tbsps
    butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • whipped topping (optional)

Directions

Microwave Directions:

  1. Stir together 2/3 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of HERSHEY’S Cocoa, 3 Tbsps cornstarch and 1/4 tsp salt in large microwave-safe bowl; gradually stir in 2 1/4 cups of milk.
  2. Microwave on high (100%) for 7 to 10 minutes or until mixture comes to full boil, stirring every 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in 2 Tbsps butter and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour into dishes and serve as directed above.
