The combination of creamy caramel, rich chocolate, crunchy pecans and salty pretzels makes for the ultimate holiday treat. Even if it’s a normal day of the week, these pretzel delights will delight your taste buds and are the perfect snack that’s quick and easy to make. Pop ROLO® chocolate caramel candy onto individual pretzels, gently melt in the oven, then top off each one with a pecan. This ROLO® candy recipe is easy enough that even your kids can join in on the fun. Pack a handful of pretzel delights into back-to-school lunchboxes, display them in your best covered holiday candy jars or keep a few in your pantry for a sweet midday snack.

Step-By-Step Directions

Rolo Pretzel Delights Step 1

Heat oven to 250°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Rolo Pretzel Delights Step 2

Place one pretzel for each pretzel treat desired on prepared sheet. Top each pretzel with one unwrapped Rolo® Candy.

Rolo Pretzel Delights Step 3

Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until Rolo® caramel piece begins to soften, but not melt. Remove from oven; top with either pecan half or additional pretzel. Cool completely.


Use oven to make larger number of treats and microwave to make just a few.

Microwave Directions:

  1. Line microwave-safe plate with wax paper.
  2. Place up to 6 pretzels on plate and top each pretzel with one unwrapped Rolo® Candy.
  3. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 30 seconds or until caramel has softened slightly. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 10 seconds.

* Carefully slide parchment paper and pretzels onto counter top. Top with either a pecan half or additional pretzel. Cool completely.

* Some caramels are a bit firmer and require additional heating.
