    shortening
  • 2 tsps
    vanilla extract
  • 4 cups
    powdered sugar, divided
  • 3 to 4 Tbsps
    milk

Beat butter, shortening and vanilla in large mixer bowl until blended. Beat in 1 cup powdered sugar, beating until creamy.

Beat in remaining powdered sugar alternately with milk, beating to spreading consistency.

Vanilla Frosting with Chocolate Chip:

Stir 1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips, HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips or HERSHEY'S Mini Chips Semi-Sweet Chocolate into prepared frosting.
