Kitty was a great influence on Milton Hershey’s philanthropy efforts and convinced him to start the Milton Hershey School, which has continued to help young people every day since. She made it her mission in life to give back to her communities with charitable gifts and donations and she was well-known for her graciousness.Women have always had a very important role at The Hershey Company.
